MSc MBACP

Having a lot of life experience at a young age, I know how it feels to need someone to be there for you. To listen, to hold the heavy things, just for a little while. I know that sometimes, our needs aren't met in the spaces they could be, even in therapy. This is more than a job to me but a life's work, a journey I choose to undertake each time a client says yes.
My Approach
My therapeutic foundations are in Person Centred Counselling (PCC), which essentially means you, the client, is at the centre of the work. My job is not to guide you or tell you what to do. Rather, the belief is that you know what hurts and with some empathy, acceptance, and genuineness, you can reach what heals.Â

I have spent most of my life caring in some capacity due to a deep and innate empathy. Having mystical experiences as a child meant I was always curious and wanting to be the best version of myself. This manifested as seeking training and various personal development modalities.
Â
After COVID, I decided I wanted to combine my personal interests and journey more deeply with my work and found Transpersonal Psychology. This branch of my work includes acknowledging what is beyond ordinary consciousness and ego, holistic expansion, and integrating experiences into the whole person.Â

Background and Qualifications
With over 12 years of clinical experience, I have a developing specialism in the ethical and psychologically informed understanding of complex and transformative experiences gained in altered states of consciousness.Â

During my degree in Counselling in 2014, I focused on working with women and girls in the charity sector, supporting an array of issues from bullying to domestic abuse and trauma. Post-qualification, I continued to develop my professional development in using play for children and young people. From the beginning, I have been a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and once qualified, I sat the test to be listed on the register to protect the public by verifying my status as a qualified therapist.

In 2018, I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education and taught Counselling at Level 2 & 3. Alongside this, I specialised in supporting university students with mental health and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as a Specialist Support Mentor.Â

In recent years, I finished my Master of Science in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology. This is where I have honed an embodied ethics, practically and academically. My research paper on ethics for transpersonal psychotherapy will be published late 2026.
